ALUMNi are excited to announce that UiTM Sabah’s Unit Kesatria will be powering patrols and campus events with a sponsored electric motorcycle, thanks to the generosity of our alumni network. The new electric motorcycle known as ECLIMO will support rounds, parades, and long campus walks, offering a quieter, cleaner, and safer mobility option for our student team. The unit has already tested the bike by Tn Khairun, Kesatria, building on last year’s groundwork.
In line with ALUMNi sustainability goals, we intend partnering with UITM sustainability experts to measure carbon emissions per kilometer for the electric motorcycle and compare it with a traditional combustion engine. By tracking energy use, charged efficiency, and the campus electricity mix, it will quantify the environmental benefits and identify opportunities for further decarbonization as the fleet grows.
This project is not just about an electric motorcycle, it’s about leadership, responsibility, and campus safety. These will involve transparent results, maintenance plans, and safety protocols when roll out the electric patrols. Carbon impact will continuously updates.
